Becoming a Notary Public can create a promising career with various opportunities.
Starting your own business, providing customer service for your organization or earning
extra income. This is a California State approved 6 hour class with the State Proctored
exam following.

$159 for Course and course materials

You will need to bring with you on the day of the class:

~ a state issued ID
~ a #2 pencil
~ a check made out to the Secretary of State for $40 dollars for
application/exam

Notary Public Qualifications:

Every person appointed as a notary public shall:

-be 18 years of age or older (there is no maximum age set by statute)
-be a legal California resident
-complete a course of study approved by the Secretary of State
-satisfactorily complete and pass a written examination prescribed
by the Secretary of State
-clear a background check

Notary books, stamps, thumbprints and errors & omissions
insurance can be purchase on day of exam

FBI & DOJ background Criminal Investigation will be conducted
